Ways to take part

How organisations work with us

  • Corporate mentoring

Invite your people to mentor job seekers from your industry. A meaningful volunteering option that builds leadership and listening skills.

  • Volunteering days

A team spends a day running career conversations, mock interviews or resume reviews with job seekers, hosted by us online or at your workplace.

  • Industry circles

Your specialists lead small group sessions for people trying to break into your field, so the next generation understands what you do.

  • Partner with us

Community organisations, employment services, schools and councils can refer people to mentoring or co-host a program with us.

Volunteering days

A mentoring day, planned with you

We plan the day around your team and the job seekers who will benefit most, then handle the invitations, checks and introductions.

  1. Plan

Agree the format, the audience and the date with our team.

  2. Prepare

Your volunteers complete the same mentor checks and receive our session guides.

  3. Run the day

Career conversations, mock interviews, resume reviews or an industry circle, online or at your workplace.

  4. Follow up

Mentees who want more can ask for ongoing mentoring, and your people can keep mentoring if they choose.

Questions

Questions organisations ask

What does a partnership look like?

It can be as simple as inviting your people to apply as mentors, or a planned mentoring and volunteering day where a team runs career conversations or an industry circle together.

Are our staff checked?

Yes. Every mentor goes through the same checks, whoever they work for.

Can we sponsor a cohort or a program?

Talk to us. We will work through what would help job seekers in your industry or community, and what we can promise honestly.

One conversation can change the next step.

Ask for a mentor, or offer an hour of your experience to someone starting out.
