Mentor Terms
Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you apply to mentor, or mentor, through Career Calling Mentors, a service of Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238), part of CAQA Groups. They sit alongside our Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Mentor Code of Conduct and Safeguarding policy.
2. A voluntary role
Mentoring is unpaid and voluntary. Nothing in these terms creates employment, a contract for services or a partnership.
You decide how much time you give, and you can pause or stop at any time by telling us.
3. Applying and checks
You agree that the information in your application is true, and that we may check your identity, review your LinkedIn profile or contact your referee, and ask for a Working with Children Check where it is relevant.
We may decline an application, or remove a profile, at our discretion.
4. Your profile
With your consent we publish a profile showing your first name and last initial, headline, industry, occupation, experience band, the help you can offer, languages, meeting formats, availability, city (where you meet in person), a short bio and, if you provide one, a photo.
We never publish your surname, phone number, email address or referee details. You can ask us to update or remove your profile at any time.
5. Matches
We ask you before introducing a mentee, and you can decline any match.
You agree to follow the Mentor Code of Conduct and to tell us promptly about any concern.
6. No guarantees
Mentors share experience and perspective. Neither you nor we promise any job, interview, placement or other outcome to a mentee.
7. Privacy
We handle your personal information under our Privacy Policy and only share what is needed for a match with the mentee you agree to meet.
8. Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this website. If a change affects you significantly we will let you know.
